For the love of the game.
Dugout Standard is an independent baseball and softball equipment publication from Basso Digital. We help players, parents, and coaches build a useful shortlist with clear reviews, practical guides, and considered comparisons.
The standard for your game
Baseball and softball share a diamond, but equipment decisions deserve their own attention. We cover both, alongside the training tools that connect practice to game day. Our starting point is always the person using the gear: the position, the fit, the league, and the budget.
What you will find here
Our reviews explain the reason to consider a product, the details that matter, and who it fits. Guides unpack equipment decisions before you spend. Comparisons focus on meaningful differences. We use qualitative recommendations rather than numbered scores.
